Goldie Had His Chance

... now it's Flight of the Conchords turn!  If nothing else, this piece is blog-notable just for the following lyric brilliance:

You don't measure up to the expectation
When you're unemployed there's no vacation
No one cares, no one sympathizes
You just stay home and play synthesizers.


Could this be more apropos?  Doubtful.  Conchords, I salute you.

so... that was supposed to be a joke in that it's not apropos at all. but you know if someone thought it was, i could come across as kind of a weirdo

I have to admit that I spent a good minute trying to figure out the subtext of that verse... but don't worry, even knowing it was a joke I still think you're a weirdo ;).
